What are my responsibilities if I decide to become a Community Sponsor for the Seniors For Safe Driving
Program?
Sponsors typically provide seating for 35 to 50 people. The sponsor must provide a reasonable size TV and VCR. Most
sponsors provide snacks, coffee, cookies, and sodas. However, how far your want to go with the snacks and drinks is
entirely up to you.
How does my business benefit when I become a community sponsor and what does Seniors For Safe Driving do for my
business?
The Seniors For Safe Driving program is a great way to make people aware or your organization while you are
providing a great public service for your community. Seniors For Safe Driving will provide the following services:
(a) SFSD will take care of all radio, TV, and newspaper advertising. (b) We will work to have your local
newspapers do a human interest story on the program, complete with pictures. (c) SFSD will take care of class
registrations with our website and toll-free 800 number. (d) we will notify you one week in advance of the anticipated class
enrollment. (e) At the conclusion of the class we will provide you with the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of
all students completing the program. (f) If there is anything else we can do to promote your business, just ask...
How do I make the necessary arrangements to become a community sponsor?
